Fantasy League Championship Results

Well, I didn't surpass that 50 win total, stuck firm to that mark by losing my prediction for the Fantasy League Superbowl.  It was a game that saw, as predicted, a ton of points scored, and solidified the fact that the best two teams duked it out for the 2011 title.

The streak has ended.  No, not Repeal Obama's streak of losing to the eventual Super Bowl champ, but Blood & Thunder's previous 0-3 in title games.

Blood & Thunder outscored Repeal Obama 160-133 in the big game.  He got great production from Matthew Stafford, Maurice Jones-Drew, Arian Foster, Reggie Bush and David Akers, while getting solid efforts by Jimmy Graham, Miles Austin, Josh Freeman, Stevie Johnson and the Cincinnati Defense.

What went wrong for Repeal Obama?

LaGarrette Blount's 1 fantasy point hurt bad, as did a basic no-show from Santana Moss.  This, in combination with solid, yet below expected, performances from Matt Ryan, Phil Rivers, Mike Wallace and SF defense, really put a damper on the huge games put in by Jordy Nelson, Calvin Johnson and Kevin Smith.

Validation.  That seems to be the chant in the Blood & Thunder locker room, as this victory cements this run of 4 straight super bowls with a Win.  One win and all the losses are put into perspective.

Although the title game just concluded, 11 GM's are already thinking ahead to 2012, scouring over keeper possibilities and just simply looking forward to another year of Fantasy Football.  As for the 12th team, well, he's just going to bask in this victory for a little longer before thinking of next year.

Thanks for following.  Hope you all have a great New Years and start to 2012 and I'll see you all next August-September for the start of the 2012 campaign.

Fantasy Football League Super Bowl Prediction

Well, here we are, about an hour and a half away from the start of the Fantasy League Super Bowl.  I split games again last week, which rounds me out at 50-30-2 for the season, leaving only the championship game left to play.

In impressive fashion, Blood & Thunder and Repeal Obama devoured up their competition last weekend by scoring 168 and 166 points respectively, and will now face off for the league title, again, all beginning in under 2 hours time.

This year's championship is historic on a couple of notes.  First, this championship battle marks the first time Repeal Obama has climbed to the final two, after many years of being that guy that winds up losing to the eventual Super Bowl champion.  Then, we have Blood & Thunder, who is participating in his unprecedented fourth consecutive title game.  This record is, however, one that is mired in infamy.  Blood & Thunder clearly had the better team on paper in each of the last 3 title games, yet a string of unfortunate circumstances, poor play and the opponents good tidings in the manner of players stepping up who had not done so all season or the back up running back stepping into a starters role due to that teams starter going down the week before.  Blood & Thunder will try to validate his record, as he firmly believes, one championship will cement this four year stretch as a reign like no other we've ever been privy to before.  But to do that, he will need a win this weekend, against Repeal Obama, a team he beat in Week 9, in a game that by all intents and purpose determined the number one and two seeds in this years playoffs.

In that week 9 contest, a game that finished with Blood & Thunder scoring 127 points to Repeal Obamas 116 featured an odd cast of unlikely players coming through big-time.  John Beck and John Skelton led the way for B & T, in a game that also marked the first of a seven game stretch of quality games put forth by Miami RB Reggie Bush, a player that B & T only picked up from the waiver wire as a guy that could potentially provide some upside.  That game, perhaps or not, seemed to be a benchmark for Repeal Obama, in the fact that soon thereafter the RO GM decided to go trade happy, drastically altering the makeup of his roster, which, at this point seemed to have paid great dividends.  That game also took place where each team was not showcasing some of their top talent, due to byes and injuries.  Blood & Thunder had stars QB Matthew Stafford and RB Maurice Jones-Drew watching from the sidelines, while RO had superstars RB DMC and WR Calvin Johnson in street clothes.  Darren McFadden still has yet to practice, but is listed as questionable for this weeks game against KC.  If DMC does play, it will be a no-brainer for RO to start him, yet a decision that one has to wonder if any rust will be on the elite runner.

A brief look back at each teams production, beginning with their week 9 contest shows the following:

Blood & Thunder scored 127, 128, 103, 140, 169, 137, and 168 points in that span for a total of 972 points for, or a per game average of 138.9.

Repeal Obama scored 116, 110, 130, 115, 115, 130 and 166 points in that span for a total of 882 points for, or a per game average of 126.

Over that span B & T gave up 116, 117, 81, 94, 137, bye week and 116 points for a total of 661 points agains, which comes out to a weekly points against total of 110.17

Over that same span Repeal Obama gave up 127, 59, 121, 82, 68, Bye Week and 109 points for a total of 566 points, which comes out to a weekly points against total of 94.3.

Each team is currently riding winning streaks where B & T is looking for his 10th consecutive victory and Repeal Obama is looking for his 6th Consecutive win.

Tale of the Tape

B&T is going with Stevie Johnson, Miles Austin and AJ Green

DEFENSE

B&T- Cincinnati at home Vs. Arizona
RO-  San Francisco @ Seattle

Projected Points: B&T 8 RO 10

TOTAL PROJECTED POINTS  B&T 136  RO 139

Should be a close game, high scoring as well, certainly capable of amassing the most points in a Super Bowl in league history.  Truly a game that can go either way, but with history not really on Blood & Thunder's side I'll concur with the above projected breakdown and think Repeal Obama will get his first fantasy football title while Blood & Thunder will always have "next year."

In either way some streak will have to break.  Either Blood & Thunder will snap his 0fer in super bowls or Repeal Obama will snap his losing to the eventual champion.  One will break and one will continue.

Fantasy Football League Playoffs Round 2

We had two pretty exciting games last week.  I split the two bringing me up to 49-29-2 for the season.

Thug Life seemed to have the contest in hand, then 2:08 was on the clock in Chicago and Tebow Time took over and with that a flurry of points saw Mission:Repeat have a 31 point lead heading into MNF.  Thug Life's last chance rested on Brandon Lloyd having a monster game.  That did not happen and so Thug Life goes home while M:R heads into Repeal Obama's House to take on the number 2 seed.

Things looked mighty cozy for 6 Wide Sunday night.  They had a 36 point lead over Manning Vs. Food, due in part to a key injury to Greg Jennings and a surprising resting of Ahmad Bradshaw.  But they had a 36 point lead and MVF had Beast Mode and Doug Baldwin going.  6 Wide was done.  Things looked great for 6 Wide until Beast Mode took control of the game.  Couple that with a few key plays by Baldwin the come from behind looked like it could be possible.  With 2:44 on the clock, 6 Wide's lead had dwindled to 3 points, St. Louis was facing a 4th and 7.  MVF must have been licking his chops, as he had to know with a bit over 2 minutes left the Hawk's would just kneel down, they'd go beast mode and a 30 + yard rush was very possible the way he'd been running in the second half.  MVF was dreaming of Skittles.  Yet the Rams converted the 4th down and ate up almost all of the remaining clock, leaving a kneel down to end the game and the hopes of MVF.  Meanwhile 6 Wide lives to play another week.  He'll be taking on Blood & Thunder who finished with the 1 seed on an improbably filled 11-2 record.

How the two games break down:

QB'S

B&T-     Matt Stafford Vs. Oakland and Freeman Vs. Dallas
6 Wide- Romo Vs. Tampa and Grossman Vs. Giants

Projected Points: B & T 20  6W 27

WR's

B&T-     Austin Vs. Tampa, AJ Green Vs. St. Louis and Stevie Johnson Vs. Miami

6 Wide- Bowe Vs. GB, Marhall Vs. Buffalo and Torrey Smith Vs. SD

Projected Points:  B&T 30  6W 35

RB's

B&T-    MJD Vs Atlanta and Foster Vs. Carolina

6 Wide- Shonn Greene Vs. Philly, Chris Johnson Vs. Indy

Projected Points:  B & T 36  6W- 30

TE's

B&T-     Jimmy Graham Vs. Minnesota
6 Wide- Jermichael Finley Vs. KC

Projected Points:  B&T 13  6W 13

Flex Plays

B&T-   Mike Williams(TB) Vs. Dallas and Reggie Bush Vs. Buffalo

6 Wide- Mario Manningham Vs. Washington and Mike Bush Vs. Det

Projected Points:  B&T 22  6W 19

K

B&T-    David Akers Vs. Pittsburgh
6 Wide-Matt Bryant Vs. Jacksonville

Projected Points B&T 11  6W 10

DEFENSE

B&T-     Cincinatti Vs. St. Louis
6 Wide- Pittsburgh Vs. SF

Projected Points: B&T 14  6W 12

Total Projection:  B&T  146  6 Wide 146

Wow, I knew this one was going to be close, but this is nuts.  So I guess, seeing I've picked against B & T all year long so far I'll keep going with that and go with 6 Wide 147 Blood & Thunder 146

In the Second Game we Have Mission:Repeat Vs. Repeal Obama:

QB's

RO  Ryan Vs. Jacksonville and Rivers Vs. Baltimore
MR  Rodgers Vs. KC and Tebow Vs. NE

Projected Points:  RO 31  MR 37

WR's

RO  Calvin Vs. Oak, Roddy Vs. Jax and Wallace Vs. SF
MR  A. Brown Vs. SF, Crabtree Vs. Pitt and Decker Vs. NE

Projected Points:  RO 45  MR 23

RB's

RO Blount Vs. Dallas and Kevin Smith Vs. Oakland
MR Ryan Grant Vs. KC and Ray Rice Vs. SD

Projected Points:  RO 17  MR 31

TE

RO  Brent Celek Vs. NYJ
MR  Owen Daniels Vs. Indianapolis

Projected Points:  RO 7  MR 9

Flex Plays

RO  Jordy Nelson Vs. KC and Santana Moss Vs. NYG
MR  Nate Washington Vs. Indianapolis and Willis McGahee Vs. NE

Projected Points:  RO 20  MR 22

K

RO  John Kasay Vs Minnesota
MR  Rob Bironas Vs. Indianapolis

Projected Points:  RO 8  MR 6

DEFENSE

RO    SF Vs. Pitt
MR    AZ Vs. Cle

Projected Points:  RO 11  MR 7

Total Projections:  RO 139  MR 135

Actually, to be honest, I didn't think it would be this close.  But doing the player by player breakdowns, while adding variables into the mix it changes perspectives a bit.  Can I see Mission Repeat winning, absolutely, but I think the odds are a but stacked up in RO's favor with those deadly 5 receiver package he's rolling out there.

This final four has a few interesting story lines though.

1.  Mission:Repeat is trying to follow up a championship with a championship, which would be the first to happen since the days of the Flying Apes dynasty which seems like ages ago now.

2.  Repeal Obama is trying to get a playoff win and carry his Fantasy Baseball prowess over into the realm of Fantasy Football.

3.  6 Wide is looking for his second title in 4 years.

4.  B & T is looking to return to his 4th straight Super Bowl.

Needless to say, I think it's safe to say, that the winner of the RO/MR contest is pulling for B & T to win his match this weekend over 6 Wide.  Why you ask?  Because he's 0-3 in Super Bowl appearances.

Only time will tell but it does appear it will be RO vs 6 Wide next week battling it out for the title.

One final bit of predicting here.  If Mission:Repeat wins this week HE WILL, win the super bowl.  As his Denver Bronco contingency, even after dumping the defense, is playing the Bills.  Just some thoughts to chew on.

To those still in this thing Good Luck and to those out of it, enjoy the ride.

Fantasy Football League Playoffs-Round 1

Well the regular season is over with.  During that span I picked 48 of the 78 games correctly.  I actually had some bad math along the way, so for those following along I apologize for that, seems I didn't add up the losses correctly.  So with a 4-2 mark last week I went 48-28-2 for the season.  But there is still 5 meaningful games remaining, giving me a pretty good shot at the 50 correct picks I was shooting for at the start of this thing.

I'm not going to talk about the individual losses this week.  This is all about playoffs from this point forward.  But I would like to say that I think it was great how close it was and there can be a number of factors involved as to why, but the moving up of the trade deadline I think was the most glaring reason why.  Why?  Simply because some teams assess their teams as being out of it and trade away all their talent, which we still saw this year but not nearly to the degree we normally see.  This then almost forced a few teams who could have thought they didn't have a chance into a do or die position and it just made for better games as the season unfolded.

The Final Standings for the regular Season:

1.   Blood & Thunder      11-2
2.   Repeal Obama         10-3
3.   Mission: Repeat         9-4
4.   6Wide                    7-5-1
5.   Manning Vs. Food       7-6
6.   Thug Life                    7-6
7.   Clean Slate                7-6
8.   Cinderella Story         6-7
9.   F&*& Philly                 5-8
10. Iron Pigs                  4-8-1
11. DreamKiller             2-9-2
12. 7 QB's Deep             1-12

The Playoffs are the first six teams listed with the first and second seeds receiving byes this week.  They'll both be in action next week facing the winners of the 3-6 and 4-5 match ups.

On to this weeks playoff match ups

3. Mission: Repeat Vs. 6. Thug Life

QB

M:R rolls out Aaron Rodgers and Tim Tebow
Thug does the same with Big Ben and Matt Hasselback

Projected Points:  M:R 37  Thug 24

WR

M:R- Antonio Brown, Crabtree and Decker
Thug- Lloyd, Maclin and Boldin

Projected Points: M:R 20  Thug 30

RB

M:R- Ray Rice and Hillis
Thug-LeSean McCoy and Turner

Projected Points: M:R 29  Thug 33

TE

M:R uses Owen Daniels
Thug uses Vernon Davis

Projected Points: M:R 4  Thug 7

W/T

M:R uses Golden Tate
Thug uses Santonio Holmes

Projected Points M:R 4  Thug 8

W/R

M:R uses Willis McGahee
Thug uses Cedric Benson

Projected Points: M:R 11  Thug 10

K

M:R- Cundiff Vs. Indianapolis
Thug Gould  Vs.  Denver

Projected Points M:R 9  Thug 9

DEFENSE

M:R uses Denver (go figure) Vs. Chi
Thug uses San Diego (Could be smart or could backfire) Vs Buf

Projected Points M:R 17  Thug 11

Add it all up and you get Mission: Repeat  131  Thug Life 132  Wow, can't believe that came out so close actually.

But this is a really close game.  I think the key match-ups to consider are how those defenses fair and if M:R's flyers at WR can produce, can't really like a Decker, Tate, Crabtree, Brown package but hey, sometimes it's those types of players that drive the stake in.  Believe me I know.  So, I'll go with the numbers and Pick Thug Life here.

Then due to Thug Life's 6th seeding he'd face off against Blood & Thunder next weekend.

Which means Repeal Obama would get the winner of the other matchup

4. 6 Wide Vs. 5. Manning Vs. Food

QB's

6W- Romo and Kolb
MVF- Manning and Brees

Projected Points: 6W 18  MVF 38

WR's

6W- Bowe ( On Revis Island), Marshall (vs. Nmandi) & Torrey Smith
MVF- Garcon, and the GB duo of James Jones & Greg Jennings

Projected Points:  6W 17 MVF 16

RB's

6W- Shonne Greene & Chris Johnson
MVF- Lynch & Helu

Projected Points: 6W 35 MVF 24

TE

6W- Finley
MVF- Tony G.

Projected Points: 6W 8  MVF 8

W/T

6W- Malcolm Floyd
MVF- Scott Chandler

Projected Points: 6W- 4 MVF 4

W/R

6W- Michael Bush
MVF- Doug Baldwin*

I'm assuming that MVF will play Bradshaw over Baldwin or Switch up Baldwin and Chandler, but prediction here is how lineup currently is set.

Projected Points: 6W 18  MVF 3

K

6W Bryant Vs. Carolina
MVF Rackers Vs. Cinci

Projected Points 6W 7  MVF 11

DEFENSE

6W Pittsburgh Vs. Cleveland
MVF Chicago Vs. Denver

Projected Points: 6W 14  MVF 9

After adding each teams score I get: 6 Wide with 121 and MVF with 113

Sounds about right actually, meshes up with my initial eye test as 6 Wide has some nice matchups with Torrey Smith going against the Colts and Chris Johnson Vs. the Saints, but Mike Bush is the X-Factor here, if GB gets up big early it could severely deflate his value as Oakland will pass when behind.  That said Mike Bush is a must start.

As far as MVF goes, you can't like Garcon, Baldwin, Chandler in your lineup, but heck the team scores megaloads of points even without his lethal early season RB duo.  If you can shut his QB's down you have a great chance.  While Lynch has been hot, and has a great matchup again this week, Helu is a victim of Shannahanigans and could get 20 points or 0 depending on how things role, yet still he has to be in the lineup.  As mentioned I'm assuming Bradshaw will be in there which should make the MNF game for Lynch meaningful.  but still, I think 6 Wide takes this one.

Leaving us with:

B & T vs. Thug Life

RO Vs. 6Wide

Probably the four teams that should be fighting for a Super Bowl Berth, but as with any other week in Fantasy anything can happen.

Enjoy the week and Good luck to those 4 teams listed above.

Fantasy Football League Week 13

Well I think I'm just going to forget about last weeks picks.  I went 2-4 which is easily my worst week of picking for the year.  My yearly record is still pretty good at 43-18-2 but I was hoping to hit 50 wins, which was a secret goal of mine this year.  Well, looks like I'll have to extend the tally into the playoffs now if I even have a chance at that mark.

Anyhow, I'm not going to recap specifically the 4 losses.  I will however make mention that I was shocked at the 165 Clean Slate dropped on Cinderella Story.  I saw the score before the Patriot game and thought the mockery would continue, where Cinderella laces up old Donavan McNabb with starting QB's sitting on the waiver wire.  But despite the amazing game NE-PHI was for Cinderella, the glass slipper is lost and will not be found again this year.  Clean Slate is alive in the playoff picture, which is:

1.  Blood and Thunder secured a first found playoff bye with his win over DreamKiller.  He keeps the #1 seed with a win or a Repeal Obama loss.  If he loses and RO wins then it'll come down to the tiebreaker, which RO will need to make up the 37 points separating the two teams.

2.  Repeal Obama's win makes him, in all likelihood, a lock for a first round bye.  I already mentioned how he can secure the #1 seed above, but he can lose the bye as well.  If he happens to lose and Mission:Repeat wins and wins by more than 42 points than RO scores he'll lock up the bye.  While not likely we've seen many routs this year, so who knows.

3.  Mission:Repeat keeps the #3 seed and has the previously mentioned shot at a bye with a win.  If he loses then playoff positioning depends on a number of things.  First, if 6Wide wins he'll get #3 seed and then M:R would either get #4 or #5 seed, depending on Thug Life.  If Thug wins then it'll come down to pts scored, which at present M:R only has a 1pt lead over Thug.

4.  6Wide  Locks up the #4 seed with a win and as mentioned can still move back into the #3 seed.  If 6 Wide Loses he can move down depending on Thug Life winning.  Actually he can slide all the way to the #6 seed if he loses and both Thug Life and Clean Slate win.

5.  Thug Life.  He's sitting here at the #5 seed and can finish at a number of seed positions.  As mentioned he can move into the #3 or #4 seeds but he can also be eliminated as well. If thug life loses to Manning Vs. Food he then needs a Clean Slate loss or he's eliminated.

6. Clean Slate.  He's in if he wins.  If he loses he needs some help from Thug Life.  The only way he makes it in with a loss is if Thug beat MVF, in which case would clinch Clean Slate in the #6 Seed.

Manning Vs. Food will make the playoffs with a win against Thug Life.  It is the old Win and In scenario and playoff game #2.  Last week was his first playoff match that he happened to beat the F Philly squad, sending them packing.  He cannot make the playoffs with a loss, but a win, coupled with a Clean Slate loss would give him the #5 seed and then allowing #6 to be filled by Thug Life, who would literally back into the playoffs if this scenario occurs, which I think it will.

Cinderella Story, Dream Killer, Iron Pigs and 7 QB's deep don't even have the spoiler play to look forward to, as Cinderella plays DK and IP plays 7QB's in what amounts to playing for pride and pride alone.

F Philly though, while out of the playoff mix can affect the playoffs with a win over Mission:Repeat, so his game this week at least offers him a but of that spoiler play.

As for this weeks games themselves:

Cinderella Story Vs. Dream Killer

Dream killer is on fumes and I think McNabb will outscore some of his players this week.  Now that Vick is officially eliminated he'll have to go with Palko, which isn't very pretty against Chicago, that is, if Orton doesn't get the nod.  Cinderella 95 DK 50

Iron Pigs Vs. 7 QB's Deep

Not much to say about his one.  It looks like the Pigs have headed to the pen as he started Jay Cutler last week despite Caleb Hanie, the new starter being on the WW.  So I'll pick the 7's here.  7QB's Deep 111- Iron Pigs 94

F Philly @ Mission:Repeat

McGahee and Rice may be the keys to this game for M:R.  If these guys come up small I think F Philly takes the pleasure in spoiling M:R's aspirations of a high seeding.  But I think both those backs will do fine and see this one as.  M:R 106 F Philly 103

Repeal Obama Vs. Clean Slate

The real Cinderella Story this year has been Clean Slate, just trying to get over the AP loss.  That one injury really hurt his team as bad as any could hurt a team.  He was there, in position to beat B & T when the injury took place two weeks ago.  So now he's just clinging onto life support, heading into a game where his opponent has some of the types of match-ups you hope to have in the playoffs.  Victor Cruz has been going nuts, and I can't see how he doesn't do the same this week, but if AP doesn't go, well I can't see a possibility he scores more points than RO's top 6, not to mention he has Jordy Nelson and Laurent Robinson in his flex spots.  RO 128 Clean Slate 100

6Wide Vs. Blood & Thunder

A really good match up on paper.  Some high quality in-game matches for both teams.  This one will surely come down to the MNF game where I see B & T needing about 24 points from MJD in that one, not impossible but to be realistic, it's a pretty lofty score to need here.  6Wide 132 B& T 129

Thug Life Vs. Manning Vs. Food

This is the main event.  As big a week 13 game as you can get.  For this reason I'd like to go through each of these teams rosters:

AT QB:

Thug life goes with Big Ben @home for Cincinnati & VY @ Seattle  Potential points 30

MVF goes with ELI @ home for GB and Drew Brees @ home for Detroit. Potential Points 40

AT WR:

Thug life goes with Lloyd vs. SF, Boldin vs. Cleveland and Holmes Vs. Washington.  Potential Points 30

MVF goes with Simpson vs. Pitt, Garcon Vs. NE and Meachem Vs. Detroit.  Potential Points 15

AT RB:

Thug Life goes with a very questionable LeSean McCoy Vs. a very difficult Seattle run defense and Michael Turner vs. a pretty solid Texans defense.  Potential Points 36

MVF goes with Marshawn Lynch vs. a Philly run defense that gives up RB points to RB1's and Johnny White vs. Titans.  Possible Points 17

At TE:

Thug Life goes with Vernon Davis vs. STL  Possible Points 13

MVF goes with Tony Gonzalez vs. Houston Possible Points 13

AT FLEX SPOTS:

Thug Life goes with W/T Denarius Moore vs. Miami, who is not listed here as questionable but I have heard from good sources that his being inactive is a possibility as of 3 hours ago.  W/R Cedric Benson vs Pitt.  Potential Points 16

MVF goes with W/T Scott Chandler vs. Tennessee and W/R Greg Jennings Vs. NYG's suspect secondary in what should be a high scoring game.  Potential Points 26

AT K and DEF:

Thug Life goes with Gould vs. KC and Giants Defense Vs. GB  Possible Total Points 4

MVF goes with Rackers vs. Atlanta and Bears Defense Vs. KC  Possible Points 20.

According to this outlook, which I'm sure will change by Sunday:

Thug Life 129

MVF 131

A couple points of advice if either team chooses to listen.  Thug Life, if I were you I'd pay the closest of attention on McCoy's status leading up to tomorrow nights game.  If he can't go, you need to have a capable backup ready to fill in. Also keep an eye on Moore, as I mentioned there are reports out there that his status is in jeopardy for Sunday.  I would probably play Hasselback vs. Buffalo if he's healthy, but then again I'm a jaded Bills fan who thinks our secondary is the worst on the planet.  I would also go get a different defense, it'll be -4 if you stick with it, which, if my outline goes right, would cost you the game.

MVF.  You can't roll with Simpson, Chandler, White, Meachem and Garcon.  I know looking at your recent transactions you don't intend to, but yeah, white can't be used, I do like the Helu and Jones pick ups as they are much better than any of your other options.  I'd scour the waiver wire for other options as well, there has to be better options out there.  I love Chandler, but he's risky, either boom or bust, but that said I might use him just the same, been missing a TE in our offense for so long, he was one of the highlights this year. Take the recommendations with a grain of salt, if you use them and you lose, just ask RO, I will not be responsible or take the blame-lol

Anyhow, I find this match-up the most intriguing, not just because it's a win and in type of game, but the fact the MVF was on fire early, loses his best 2 players and is still in this thing, pretty impressive.  Thug Life has had a great team on paper all year but as many of us know from our own rosters, variables and underperformance just sucks.

So, I think the Playoffs will shake out like this:

1. Blood & Thunder
2. Repeal Obama

3. Mission: Repeat vs. 6. Thug Life
4. 6-Wide Vs. 5. Manning Vs. Food

Enjoy the week of football

Fantasy Football League Week 12 Game Predictions

Week 11 solved a lot of questions and opened the door for a whole bunch more.  The final two weeks of the Fantasy regular season should be very interested as nine teams out of 12 are in this thing still.

I went 4-2 yet again last week, bringing my season record up to 41-14-2.

Going to do the post a bit different this week, so bear with me.

After Week 11 victories, Blood & Thunder, Repeal Obama and 6 Wide have clinched playoff berths.  Mission:Repeat is a virtual lock to make the playoffs, yet there is a scenario, albeit unlikely, where they fail to get their dancing card.

So we have four teams, for the most part, in already.  This leaves two spots up for grabs.  Thug Life looks like they'll make it in based on opponents and match-ups, but that said, things will get really dicy for them if they fail to produce a W this weekend.  But I'm going to include them as the fifth team, which leaves but 1 space open.

F Philly, Manning Vs Food, Cinderella Story and the current 6th seed, Clean Slate are all fighting for the final playoff slot.  And It will come down to Week 13 to settle all the dust here.

A brief rundown of events to come:

Blood & Thunder needs 1 win, either this week against DreamKiller or next week against 6 Wide to secure a first round bye.  He'll secure the first place seed by winning both, or winning one and a Repeal Obama loss.  If both teams finish with the same record it will come down to points scored, which currently are separated by I believe 12 points.

Repeal Obama doesn't clinch a bye with a win this week, but will make big strides towards that goal with a victory over 7 QB's Deep.  If he wins and 6 Wide loses he locks up the 1st round bye.  If not it'll come down to his week 13 match against Clean Slate.  He'll be watching the scoreboard as well, to see the B & T-6 Wide score, as any  6Wide loss in this scenario also locks him the 2 seed at least.  His possibility for the 1 seed was listed above.

6 Wide is in an odd situation having a tie in his record.  This tie can help him, which it already has, in regards to the playoff clinching, but it can work against him as he tries to move to a higher seed.  There are a few scenarios available to him, but to get into the first seed he needs 2 B & T losses because of that tie.  He can move into the second seed with two wins and two losses by Repeal Obama, or two wins and one loss by Repeal Obama, where points will then be the deciding factor, but he's currently more than 100 points behind in that respect.  Of course a couple of losses could push him down as well in the playoff seeding.  He plays Mission:Repeat this week and Blood & Thunder in Week 13.

Mission: Repeat is in with a win, on the virtue of the teams he would be battling for the playoff spot would be playing each other, thus knocking each other down.  If he wins this week, Yahoo may not recognize the clinching but he'll be in.  If he loses both games though things get dicy.  As he'll be looking at the scoreboard and hoping MVF or F Philly aren't the teams he's vying for a spot with as points could get interesting in such a case.  He plays 6 Wide this week which is a tough one for him and he finishes the season off against F Philly in Week 13.

Thug Life will get oh, so closer to locking up a spot with a win over Iron Pigs this week.  If needed he has the tough match-up against MVF in week 13.  As you can tell from these past few entries a lot will sort itself out over the next two weeks as teams fighting for playoff positioning are battling each other this year.  If Thug Life falls both weeks he'll probably be out, yet that's there's still a scenario for a berth if that happens, as if he finishes tied with Clean Slate, and the lowly points total they tote around, he'd win out in virtue of points.  But all this can be null if he takes care of business against the Iron Pigs this week.

Clean Slate, despite his current spot in 6th place, can't lose another game this year.  This is due to the teams around him and their match-ups, combined with the low point total his team has put up so far.  He's scored 1077 points while most teams are in the mid 1200's, meaning he'd have to outscore those teams by 250 points this week or next week, that is if he only won one of the next two weeks, and we know that scenario is next to impossible.  This all said though, if he wins his last two weeks, he'll be in.  It's really in his own hands.  But one loss and he's done.  He plays Cinderella Story this week and then Repeal Obama in Week 13, so his prospects don't look good.  The only thing that might save him, is a but on the collusion side, but it's still worth mentioning.  If RO locks up his bye this week, he could, and extremely unlikely for him to do this, he could punt week 13 if Clean Slate wins this week and is in the win and in scenario next week.  Will be interesting, but the fate is in Clean Slates hand.  And did I mention that he'll be without AP this week, and the Bills play the Jets.

Manning Vs. Food is in the 7th seed right now.  Barely outside looking in.  He plays F Philly this week, where the loser is out and the winner is still in contention.  MVF plays Thug Life next week so his future is clearly in his own hands.  Win both weeks and he's in.  Lose once and he's out.

F Philly is in the same boat as MVF. He must beat MVF this week and then beat Mission:Repeat next week.  One loss and they're done due to the various match-up scenarios involved here.  Although, if tied with Clean Slate for 6th seed, he'd get the nod because of points.

Cinderella Story is in 9th place right now.  It's truly remarkable that there is a scenario he makes the playoffs, as he's been starting McNabb each and every week and McNabb hasn't played in over a month.  Last week he picked up P. Manning, who probably won't play this year, when there were, albeit terrible options, starters available to pick up.  Instead he pulled this win off and is in position to at least have a shot to make the playoffs.  Obviously a loss in either week is a killshot.  He needs to beat Clean Slate this week and then Dream Killer next week.  Then he has to hope Clean Slate beats Repeal Obama in week 13 and that Thug Life loses both weeks with F Philly beating MVF this week and M:R beating F Philly in week 13.  If this perfect storm takes place, well then a Cinderella story this indeed would be.

Iron Pigs, Dreamkiller and 7 QB's Deep are obviously solely in the spoiler role right now, as each team has been eliminated for a few weeks now.

How I think this week will pan out.

Blood & Thunder Vs. Dreamkiller

I don't like B & T's team, yet they seem to win in outlandish mannerisms.  AP going down, S-Jax held to 3 pts, The Bills players Clean Slate had scoring 1 point for 3 players.  Really?  Anyhow I can't pick B & T, just can't.  DK gets his revenge.  119- 114

Repeal Obama Vs. 7 Qb's Deep

7 QB's have been competitive the past 4-5 weeks and should be again, yet RO should still this one out.  But, if Jordy Nelson and Megatron come up low tomorrow, we could have an interesting Sunday to watch. RO 122 7QB's 111

6 Wide Vs. M:R

Have to go six wide 118-117.  But, if Shonn Greene fails against the bills I can see it going to M:R.  I have Greene rocking out a cool 20 points against Buffalo this week

Clean Slate Vs. Cinderella Story

Too many injuries and guys on teams playing poorly will effectively end Clean Slates playoff aspirations and keep Cinderellas open a bit longer. Cinderella 1 105- Clean Slate 88

F Philly Vs. Manning Vs. Food

This is the match to watch this week.  Winner is in business as I see it.  any other week I'd take MVF 99 out of 100 times, but the perfect scenario befell F Philly.  He has half a roster full of Jets, that's a losing philosophy in and of itself....but not when they happen to be playing the Bills.  F Philly 120 MVF 115

Thug Life Vs. Iron Pigs

No cutler for Iron Pigs hurts their chances.  I can't see Thug Life losing here.  101-80

So you can figure out how things fit in to the above listed playoff scenarios.  Everyone have a happy Thanksgiving.  Enjoy the food and the games.

Fantasy Football League Week 11 Game Predictions and Week 10 Recap

Well some of the mess was sorted out last week, but there still is 3 weeks left to play and anything can happen.  Nothing is set at this point and 8 teams still have a realistic shot at making the playoffs and another team is mathematically still alive yet needs some help.  I went 4-2 on my picks last week. This brought my season record to 37-21-2.

The two games I lost last week:

The F Philly comeback was one for the ages.  Iron Pigs seemingly had this one in the bag, but then came the Jets Vs. Patriots game and all momentum shifted in favor of F Philly.  In the end F Philly kept themselves alive in the postseason hunt and effectively ended the Iron Pigs chances of seeing a playoff game.

Blood & Thunder keeps winning these games he has no business pulling off.  Yes, you could say "what to do expect, he played 7QB's Deep," but the 7 Qb's have been playing some good ball the past few weeks and lost a few games earlier in the year that they probably should have one.  While B & T did score 128 points, tied for the most this past week, he has his problems, with a underachieving receiving corps and some iffy QB play as of late.  The game was close 16 points separating the two teams heading into the Vikings-Packers game on MNF.  Late in the third quarter B & T's lead was down to 10 points and B & T Qb Christian Ponder dropped back to pass.  The rookie let the ball go and it hit GB legend Charles Woodson square in the gloves.  There wasn't anyone in his way the rest of the field.  It was a pick six.  An easy pick six.  Yet, just as Julio Jones hamstring prevented points scored for the 7QB's, Woodson dropped the ball here, literally.  That was a 10 point play.  Who knows what would have happened after that if that play had actually occurred.  Lucky, yes, really lucky, hell yes.

On to Week 11.

Blood & Thunder Vs. Clean Slate

The Slate team has dropped another game and saw his security cushion fall to the wayside.  He's now jumbled in the mass of teams fighting for playoff space.  Luckily for him B & T's best players are on bye this week.  If you take last weeks scoring, that's 45 points off the B & T scorecard.  Sure, some crazy play could happen.  Reggie Bush could go off again and newly acquired Damian Williams could have a big game, but B & T doesn't look to be in a winning scenario right now.  Clean Slate pulls away here.  Clean Slate 110 B & T 99

Repeal Obama Vs. Iron Pigs

Too many byes and other problems for the pigs here.  Not much analysis to do with this one.  RO 105 Pigs 75

7QB's Deep Vs. Cinderella Story

If Cinderella is ever going to find that slipper she lost, it will have to start this week.  I mentioned I would never pick 7 QB's again, well I guess I lied.  7 QB's impressed me with his recent play and should win this one out of karma alone.  7 QB's 114 Cinderella Story 94

Mission Repeat Vs. DreamKiller

No dreams being killed here.  Perhaps prolonging M:R's agony, as his team is wavering greatly.  M:R 109 DK 68

6Wide Vs. Manning Vs. Food

MVF needs to pull off another one to keep pace.  He is a deadly team, but without Bradshaw he's just another team.  He needs to bide his team, inch into the playoffs and hope Bradshaw is back in time for another run at this thing.  6Wide pulled off a blockbuster deal with DreamKiller and the results were felt instantly, as Tony Romo had a great game and Chris Johnson, with the change of scenery, looks back. I think this continues.  6Wide 107 MVF 105.  But, if MVF finds suitable replacements for his bye week holes, another story might be told.

Thuglife Vs. F Philly

Thug life needs a replacement for Big Ben.  If he finds someone I think he pulls this one off.  He'll actually have a good idea what he needs to do later tonight, as half the F Philly roster plays tonight.  I'm assuming Thuglife will make the necessary adjustments and pull this squeaker of a game out.  ThugLife 108 F Philly 105

See you for Week 12.

Fantasy Football League Week 10 Game Predictions

I only went 3-3 last week as a couple shocking developments cost me two wins.  My season record is now at 33-19-2.  The 3 games I lost:

Blood & Thunder pulled off a stunning upset against Repeal Obama.  RO's GM was fully at ease when Miles Austin went down after a couple of big catches.  But he wasn't counting on the John Skelton and Reggie Bush Factors.  B & T pulled off an 11 point upset, where Skelton gained an improbable 13 points and Bush got the unlikely total of 21 points to secure the underdog victory.

But that game didn't nearly match the magnitude of upset as the winless 7QB's deep 147 to 137 win against Mission:Repeat.  M:R had guys going off all over the place, but so did 7QB's.  Very shocking as the 7QB's only scored 43 points the week earlier.  Also there was the interesting development of a trade that was accepted between Repeal Obama and 7QB's on Friday Night.  7QB's shipped Rivers off to RO for Murray and Alex Smith.  The trade would've pulled a 3 point off for RO instead of the 11 point loss, and a 3 point win over M:R for 7QB's.  The interesting development was that, which I have on good information, that Rivers was informed of this trade just minutes before kickoff.  It's rumored that Rivers called the 7QB's owner personally during warmups, where he apologized for stinking the joint up all year, and vowed to put forth his best effort of the year.  That in fact he did.

Thug Life pulled off a late win over DreamKiller who has since been working the phones, trying to secure some keeper trades before tomorrow's deadline.

On to this weeks action, where there are some huge implications on the line here:

F Philly Vs. Iron Pigs

The Pigs season is virtually done with, after suffering some tough upsets early.  F Philly has reeled lately but they are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, but need to win 3 of the next 4 to have a chance.  If they lose this week they'll need to win out.  I think the pigs put em down this week. Iron Pigs 118 F Philly 111

Manning Vs Food Vs. Dreamkiller

Depending on what DK's team looks like this week it could be a nailbiter for MVF.  MVF is in the same boat as F Philly, needing 3 of 4 to have a shot at the playoffs, but I see him pulling this one out.  MVF 122 DK 115

Repeal Obama Vs. Cinderella Story

Cinderella story needs a win or for all likely purposes they are toast as far as playoffs go.  They need to win out.  While RO is still sitting in pretty good shape I think they'd like to stop the bleeding after seeing an undefeated team drop 3 of 4 weeks.  They've made some serious moves to address their apparent weaknesses.  The previously mentioned Rivers trade offers huge upside potential as does the acquisition of Roddy White from 6 Wide.  White has been overshadowed by the emergence of Julio Jones but has elite potential in his DNA.  He paid the price to get him though, bailing on Shonn Greene to secure the elite Wideout.  I don't like Greene long term, but I think this deal helps both teams immensely.  RO needed another elite WR to accompany Megatron, while 6Wide needed a number one back.  While Greene is lacking when compared to other number 1 backs, he plays many of the rest of his games in the cold, which we all know is RB weather.
RO stops the bleeding in a mercy killing of Cinderella.  RO 110 Cinderella Story 98

6Wide Vs. Thug Life

Must win game for both teams.  While both probably only need 2 of 4 to secure a playoff spot, the winner here will have the upper hand at snaring one of the six seeds.  Should be a tough one, and a high scoring contest to boot.  6 Wide 126 Thug 119

Blood & Thunder Vs. 7 QB's Deep

I've picked against B & T and 7 QB's all year.  I guess I have to pick one here.  I'll go with the upset of all upsets. 7 QB's goes back to back with an unlikely Julio Jones/DeMarco Murray explosion.  B & T is a team that looked elite on paper early, but is only where they are at for hitting the right teams at the right times, making a great use of waiver wire pickups and yes, getting lucky from the TE, K and Defense positions throughout the year.  7 QB's 133 B & T 132

Clean Slate Vs. Mission Repeat

Game of the week.  This game matters in the same fashion as 6Wide Vs. Thug life.  But I can easily see the loser of this game as the odd man out of playoff contention, as they're matchups moving forward and opponents don't look all that favorable.  Unfortunately we have yet another tightly spun game that will hinge on two factors for each team. Will Clean Slate get a huge game out of the Fitzmagic to D Nelson connection, where Nelson will be playing, for the first time all year, in front of his girlfriend, who just happens to be a Dallas cheerleader.  Or does the Denver domination continue for M:R who is starting Tebow and McGahee both, not only with confidence, but expecting huge games from both of these guys.  I like the matchup against KC much better for M:R than I do the Dallas matchup for CS.  M:R 103 CS 101

Enjoy a great week of fantasy football.

Fantasy Football League Week 8 Recap and Week 9 Game Predictions

Last week was not a great week for predicting.  I only went 3-3, bringing my season record up to 30-16-2.  The games I lost were:

Blood & Thunder controlling his game against Cinderella Story all day long.  In this win a flaw in Cinderella's game was evident.  Stop the Patriots stop Cinderella.  Simple as that.

Mission:Repeat pulled off the upset here, ousting Repeal Obama in fairly convincing fashion.

And the low scoring contest, 82-73, that was 6 Wide's victory over Iron Pigs.

Lots on stake here in Week 9:

Dreamkiller Vs. Thug Life

DK is 1-0 since the name switch, and his players seemingly used that as a rallying cry, pulling off a win last week.  They look to continue this momentum, forcing DK's owner to make a tough call.  I contacted DK's owner for a comment, which he said, "If we pull this one out we'll be all in for the stretch, if not, so goes the firesale." Thug Life, the other team to change names, hasn't done so well since the switch.  Although some really good match-ups, I think DK has momentum on his side.  Upset special.  DK 114  Thug Life 107

Mission:Repeat Vs. 7 QB's Deep

Things were pretty ugly for 7 QB's Deep last week, posting an abysmally low score of 43 points.  To put this in perspective, Blood & Thunder had 1 player 2 weeks ago go for 42.  But that said I see this squad rebounding a bit this week.  And if M:R looks past 7 QB's then bad things could be in store for him.  I'm going to pick this game assuming he won't, and I'm on record saying I won't be picking 7 QB's again this year, after all, How could I?  M:R 90 7 QB's 86

Manning Vs. Food Vs. Clean Slate

Tough matchup to call.  Both teams can easily make their case and I guess we'll have to see what happens on Sunday.  If you're scratching your head thinking how can MVF, and his seemingly weekly high scores go down to the Clean Slate, well Ahmad Bradshaw and his 15-20 points won't be there as well as some other concerns this week.  That said I'm picking Clean Slate to win.  CS 97  MVF 93

F Philly Vs. 6 Wide

Big match-up for possible playoff positioning here.  F Philly does have his NYJ's filled roster playing a fantasy friendly Bills Defense, which most weeks would secure his team the prediction.  However, 6 Wide has some very nice match-ups as well.  I can see this game tilting back and forth all day long, and I'll go with 6 Wide and a flip of the coin.
6 Wide 119  F Philly 111

Cinderella Story Vs. Iron Pigs

If the Pigs want to stay in this thing they have to win this week.  Cinderella Story is reeling and could easily lose this game, just as easily as they can win it.  Pigs owner, and big time Steelers fan, is hoping his Steelers can help him defeat the Cinderella Patriots.  Iron Pigs 97 Cinderella 95

Repeal Obama Vs. Blood & Thunder

This is the Marquis match-up of the week.  First place B & T Vs. 2nd Place Repeal Obama.  The margin between 1st and 2nd is 10 fantasy points scored.  Neither team has been playing up to their potential.  While RO was pure dominance the first 6 weeks, they've certainly lost some steam the past two weeks.  B & T has been getting lucky while putting up meager point totals.  Both teams have their issues and they've arrived here coming from opposite methods.  When looking the rosters over it was a no-brainer to pick RO, but now that DMC won't be playing, which is the exact type of thing that has propelled B & T to wins, it changes perspective.  Bye Weeks bite each team as well.  For RO Megatron is out.  For B & T, Stafford and MJD are out.  Lots of storylines here, but in the end RO is a team playing closer to potential than B & T is.  The only saving grace for B & T is the forced starts of John Skelton and Reggie Bush, snot-factor personified.  I'll go with the odds though.  Repeal Obama 110 Blood & Thunder 109

See you in Week 10.

Fantasy Football League Week 7 Recap and Week 8 Predictions

Week 7 was yet another sloppy week of Fantasy Football.  The low scoring games continued and that leads to a situation where one player having a monster game could be the difference as you try to outlast the Bye Week Buzzkill.

I went 3-2-1 last week predicting, bringing my season record up to
27-13-2

The first game I lost last week was the unlikely Blood & Thunder over Iron Pigs 116 - 91.  It was unlikely as B & T was definitely hurt by poor match-ups and Bye week issues.  But like I mentioned in the intro, one big game out of a player gives you hope.  Arian Foster, and his 42 fantasy points were the only reason B & T didn't need to bite his nails on MNF.

The other loss came at my shoot-for-the-moon bet, where I took 7 QB's Deep to pull one out.

LGBW suffered yet another tie last week.  This time it was against 6 Wide.  This seems to have prompted a name change, the second in the league this year.  The teams unveiling ceremony comes this weekend as...drum roll... The Dreamkillers take on F Philly.  I think the name says it all.

WEEK 8 Predictions

Dreamkillers Vs. F Philly

By having sole possession of the entire NY Jets football team, F Philly is in Bye week hell this week.  As DK's "star" RB has the perfect opportunity to wreck Havok vs Indianapolis this week, so does the entire DK team.  This will even the Win to Tie Ratio.  Dreamkillers 105 F Philly 87

6 Wide Vs. Iron Pigs

Both teams suffering demoralizing losses last weekend.  I'd like to say that each team has great match-ups this week, but I can't.  Should be a real stinker of a game and open for which team wants it more.  I'll pick the Iron Pigs in this one.  Iron Pigs 101  6 wide 95

Manning Vs. Food Vs 7 QB's Deep

Not much to write about here.  I won't be picking 7 QB's again this year. Manning Vs. Food 111 7 QB's Deep 98

Clean Slate Vs. Thug Life

Might be the best matchup of the week.  I like match-ups for both teams and should be a shootout of sorts.  I'll go with Clean Slate as I think Fitz and the Bills will come up big this week.
Clean Slate 122  Thug Life 119

Blood & Thunder Vs. Cinderella Story

I really should pick B & T here, as his bye week situation this week is pretty much nil.  However, despite a few bye week issues, I can't bet against a Cinderella team that has racked up the points this year, outside of last week that is.
Cinderella Story 126  Blood & Thunder 125

Repeal Obama Vs. Mission:Repeat

Mission Repeat is having some issues right now and R:O seems to be the team to exploit them.  Without Aaron Rodgers, this M:R team is pedestrian.  R:O has his issues too, but they seem to minor, at least for this week.  R:O 99 M:R 89

Fantasy Football League Week 7 Game Predictions

In week 6 of the Fantasy Football season we saw a sharp spike in point production.  The effects that went relatively unnoticed despite bye week influence in Week 5 reared its ugly head, dramatically tilting more than a handful of games.  Mission:Repeat, Repeal Obama, 7QB's deep all felt the impact of the bye week.  Yet Manning Vs. Food continued his impressive high scoring routine.  Thug Life joined the scoring frenzy as he dropped 144 on the then undefeated Repeal Obama, in what turned out to be the weeks Biggest Blowout.

Week 6 was also the rare occurrence of a tie, where LGBW made a late surge to tie the Iron Pigs, who, leaving sunday's games, must have felt fairly confident about where they sat.  F Philly also came back in a big way with his NYJ contingency striking pay dirt as they came from behind to defeat 7 QB's Deep, which marked back to back monday nights where he saw defeats snatched from the grasp of victory.

On the prediction front I finished a meager 3-2-1 this past week.  One of the two losses came to the depleted Mission Repeat team not getting that snot-factor production that typically is the bane of existence for Blood & Thunder, in a game much closer than the 31 point margin of victory would suggest. The second loss came from the "out of the blue" trouncing of the Undefeated Obama, as thug life brought out all he had to thoroughly destroy the last remaining undefeated team, thus narrowing the stranglehold on first place overall.

The 3-2-1 mark now brings my prediction record for the season to 24-11-1.

On to Week 7, which has all the makings for one monumentally brutal scoring drought, courtesy of BYE Week productions.

Blood & Thunder Vs. Iron Pigs

The Pigs get his lethal SD charger duo of V-Jax and Matthews back along with highly productive fantasy RB Daniel Thomas, from the Miami Dolphins.  They'll line up alongside newly acquired QB Carson Palmer, just signed on Tuesday by the Oakland Raiders.  B & T is riddled with Bye week blues, but his team has been staggering lately and last week proved that, as a relatively intact team put up a meager 99 points.  He also has a pair of new QB's on the team, in Charlie Whitehurst, most likely a one week addition and rookie Christian Ponder.  Nothing scary about that duo.  B & T is perusing the rosters of other teams, looking for a trading partner.  Iron Pigs 122  B & T 96

Repeal Obama Vs Manning Vs. Food

This should have been a marquis matchup.  Would the Buzzsaw of MVF continue?  How would RO's reaction to their first loss be revealed?  It doesn't matter, and while snot-factor is a nemesis of most, MVF's team is battered with bye week problems.  Probably much too great to hope to overcome.  Repeal Obama 110  MVF 90

7 QB's Deep Vs Thug Life

I don't know about this game one bit.  Thug Life clearly has a better roster, or a more productive roster I should say.  But there's a gut feeling I have about 7QB's team this week. I'm going to pick the underdog here, simply because I feel the loss of Shady McCoy may be too much too overcome for Thug Life.  7QB's Deep 100 Thug Life 94

Mission:Repeat Vs Cinderella Story

Cinderella's team is gone this week.  I see a zero chance scenario they pull this off.  And for Mission:Repeat, what a matchup to unveil your newest toy, QB Tim Tebow, one he paid a hefty price tag for, in the likes of Pettigrew and Larry Fitzgerald.  Mission:Repeat should have this settled early.  M:R 109 Cinderella Story 78

Clean Slate Vs F Philly

Bye week disaster for Clean Slate this week sees F Philly muddying that tablet up.  Nothing special about the F Philly Squad this week, but Clean Slate is hurting this week because of the Bye.  F Philly takes this one, but it still should be a game.  F Philly 82 Clean Slate 74

LeGarrettesblountwraps Vs 6 Wide

In the final game of Week 7 I see the LGBW actually gaining a big boost in confidence from coming back for the Week 6 tie.  Both teams look a bit shaky this week, but I like LGBW this week in what appears to be a game that can go either way.  LGBW 88 6 Wide 86

See you all in week 8

Fantasy Football League Week 6 Game Predictions

Well, as we learned from last weeks games the bye weeks are a crapshoot.  In past seasons Bye week games were a huge disadvantage for teams suffering from missing players from their lineups.  This past week, the first of bye weeks for 2011, seemed pretty neutral for the most part, except, if any change was seen, it was the opposite as you'd expect.  Teams missing players scrambled on Sunday morning before kickoff and the few days leading up to the week for anyone really that they could plug in for a week to help them get through.  Nothing different there, but it did amaze me the amount of production these waiver wire guys produced.

A few examples:

Doug Baldwin nailing down a 20 point performance.  Doug who, well the Seattle receiver did have a decent fantasy performance in week one, but really hasn't sniffed points since.  That is, until this past weekend.

Tim Tebow, who was a backup leading into the week.  The theory with playing Tebow was the fact that he had the possibility of running a few wildcat plays here or there, and there's always the chance of a cheap goal-line TD. Well Orton stinks the joint up, and enter Tebow who scored 15 points in the second half.

These were just two of the WW all-stars from week 5.  It really is a crapshoot and I'm not going to bother trying to figure out what teams might possibly be hurt from bye week problems, as there's just as good of a chance that the scrubs will have all that snot-factor that goes along with WW wonders.

I went 4-2 last week and am now 21-9 for the season.  Not bad, but easily could be better.

The two games I did lose were the Cinderella Story writing yet another chapter, this time at the expense of Thug Life, where apparently name changes don't do what they used to do in another time, another place.

The Iron Pigs, the team that was riddled the most by bye week problems outlasted a red-hot Mission:Repeat team.  Bye Week brilliance at it's finest.

On to Week 6

A dejected Blood & Thunder team, who was the recipient of the Biggest Blowout of the week, getting trounced by Pierre Garcon, Doug Baldwin and co.  This week he takes on that Mission: Repeat squad, who are also plugging the bye week holes in a major way.  What does this tell you?  Yep, go M:R in this one, in a Snot-Factor festival.  Mission:Repeat 108 Blood & Thunder 101

Repeal Obama stayed perfect for the season, although he did get a close scare there for awhile against F Philly.  This week he takes on that previously mentioned Thug Life.  This game probably shouldn't be pretty, but Thug Life has the early Vegas odds going for them, but then again RO hasn't submitted his final roster yet, and there are 2 positions left unfilled.  The mantra of "Can't win 'em all" keeps ringing, but I think the only way RO loses this week if the undefeated record goes to his head and decides on not picking up two snot players to plug in.  Repeal Obama 125 Thug Life 117

7QB's Deep can't even get the breaks when it comes to trades.  Desperately trying to make one last stab at getting a W he trades Tebow to Mission:Repeat for a great WR in Larry Fitzgerald, but also a WR who's on a bye this week.  0-6 just may be too difficult, if not impossible, a task to dig out from.  He takes on F Philly this week, a team that's been pretty good this year overall, and I think he's out to prove he deserves to be there with the playoff ranks.  F Philly 113 7 QB's Deep 106

Clean Slate is keeping his surprising season rolling and faces a still deadly 6 Wide Team.  I actually should pick 6 Wide here but I'll roll the dice on a Clean Slate team with some good plays this week. Clean Slate 122 6 Wide 119

LGBW Vs. Iron Pigs.  LGBW's players have been slowly coming along but I don't see them getting it done this week.  Iron Pigs is vastly underrated and could be in store for a good week come Sunday. Iron Pigs 109 LGBW 104

The real cinderella team so far this year is MVF, a team that only drafted half a team and has been plugging the roster with BPA and some roll of the dice type moves from the WW.  Us against the world Vs. Who Dey.  Battle for the silver slipper match.  Too many points been scored by MVF to pick against this unlikely lot.  I do like some of Cinderella Story's matchups, but I'll go MVF 140 Cinderella Story 133

Fantasy Football League Week 5 predictions and Week 4 Recap

The league seems to be settling into a rhythm after four weeks are in the books.  We're virtually a quarter through the season and this is what we've learned so far:

Repeal Obama at 4-0 is looking like a lock at the playoffs, and deserving of the number one seed and the record he owns.

LeGarrettesBlountWraps and 7Qb's deep are looking like teams on the other end of the spectrum.

Then you have everyone else in between.  Teams that could win or lose on any given week.  For example, the third highest scoring team, Manning Vs. Food is currently in 9th place, where the only explanation is not being lucky enough to get one of the teams that are scoring in the low 100's and below each week.  Everyone else is pretty fairly balanced and jumbled in their tight.  While this situation can certainly cause some nail-biting on the majority of owners, it's great from a competition standpoint.  What will play a major role in sorting this thing out a bit more, say by the time the season's three-quarters through?  Bye weeks and injuries.

Injuries have already played a major role.  And now comes the bye week hell.

Just in week five we see the following holes:

Repeal Obama- None
6 Wide- no one major
Thug Life- Hightower
Cinderella Story- Witten
Mission:Repeat- R.Rice and Hillis
LGBW- Romo, Marshall, Boldin
FPhilly- Bryant
Blood & Thunder- Grossman, Austin
Clean Slate- Steven Jackson
Manning Vs. Food- Jabar Gaffney, Santana Moss
Iron Pigs- Felix Jones, Fred Davis, Daniel Thomas, Reggie Bush

So, one can easily see how Byes can factor into the weekly game.

Last week I picked 4 games correctly while missing out on 2.

My season record is 17-7 so far.

The 2 games I missed out on last week:

Blood & Thunder 127 Thug Life 112

Reason why B&T won: 18 pts. from Detroit Defense, 20 Points from TE Jimmy Graham and 25 from Arian Foster.

Reasons why Thug Life lost:  2 pts from Hightower, only 10 from McCoy, 3 from Holmes, 7 from Maclin and 4 from Big Ben

Cinderella Story 165 F Philly 117

Biggest blowout win of the week for the Cinderella squad, taking the honors away from Repeal Obama for the first time this year.

Reasons why CS won: 20 pts from Gore and DJax, 21 from Steve Smith, 15 from Witten and 32 from Baltimore Defense

Reasons why FP lost: 3 pts from AJ and Burress, 1 pt from Sanchez, 1 point from Gronkowski, a goose-egg for LT

Onto the Week 5 game predictions:

Repeal Obama Vs. F Philly

A good rule of gambling is to ride the hot hand.  RO is the hot hand right now and with no bye week casualties combined with F Philly's loss of Andre Johnson, this pick is easy to make.  Repeal Obama 130 F Philly 110

7 QB's Deep Vs. 6 Wide

7 QB's owner and manager has stated publicly that, "I think I just submitted the worst lineup ever seen."  It could be a motivational ploy, but after looking at his lineup I tend to agree, perhaps not the worst, but close to it.  Combine this with the fact that 6 Wide doesn't have any major bye week casualties it's another easy prediction. 6 Wide 121 7 QB's Deep. 67

Thug Life Vs. Cinderella Story

Pretty closely matched up game.  Neither team is losing all that much, Thug Life isn't losing any players of note to byes and Cinderella is only losing Witten.  I see the Witten loss as enough to pick against Cinderella this week.  Although this game could be won by Thug Life with a much higher margin if Maclin and McCoy have great games against the Bills Offense-friendly defense.  Thug Life 110  Cinderella Story 97

Mission: Repeat Vs. Iron Pigs

Iron Pigs is ravaged by the bye week.  Too much to overcome.  Mission:Repeat 109 Iron Pigs 87

Clean Slate Vs. LeGarrettesBlountwraps

I'm not enamored with the Clean Slate squad but they are a scrappy bunch for sure.  LGBW is banged up and although coming off a much needed win I can't see them winning this game, one he plays without Romo, Brandon Marshall and Anquan Boldin.  Chris Johnson and his name sake should do fine as should QB Josh Freeman.  Having to play Tarvaris Jackson at this point says it all. No, really it does.  Clean Slate should get a good game out of Fitzpatrick and A.P and that should be enough of a difference.  Clean Slate 112 LGBW 79

Blood & Thunder Vs. Manning Vs. Food

While this game could go either way I have to break this game down to get a good feel for a prediction.  Each team has some pretty good matchups but B & T has to play minus a QB in this one.  While currently MVF is showing two holes I fully expect him to plug players in there before the kickoff.  This game still should be close, but Fred Jackson going against an Eagles defense that is either last or near last in rushing defense probably will be the difference maker in this game.  Manning Vs. Food 115  Blood And Thunder 108

See you all next week, when we see which team was most hurt by the Bye weeks this week and look at next week's lineups and contests.

Fantasy League Week 4 Predictions

This week's just flown by.  It's already week 4 of the NFL season and with that we also get week 4 of the Fantasy Football season.  Last week I went 5-1 in my predictions, bringing me to 13-5 for the season.

A brief Recap of the week that was:

Repeal Obama kept his destructive roll going as he posted a 131-83 blowout over the reeling LGBW team. This marked RO's 3rd consecutive blowout and 3rd straight owning the largest margin of victory.  Look, we're only 3 weeks in, but can anyone stop this train.  Look's like it'll be up to 6 Wide to derail the Repeal Train this week.

6 Wide got back on the right side of the W-L column in week 3.  Despite Vick and Britt going down, the latter will sting all year, 6 Wide still manage to dispose of then-undefeated Cinderella Story in the weeks 2nd closest game. 98-80, the 18 point spread only beat by Clean Slate, who won his game by 16 points.

Clean Slate finally found his way to the win column after the previously mentioned 16 point win over 7 QB's deep, who, at 0-3 may want to consider dumping a few of those QB's for a RB or two-:).  But all jokes aside it looks like an uphill climb for 7QB's if a trade or two isn't made sooner rather than later.

F*#& Philly ended Blood & Thunders undefeated season as the bounces did not break his way in week 3 as they had in the first two weeks.  F Philly put up 148 points second only to the 154 put up by Manning Vs. Food.

MVF ousted the now 1-2 Iron Pigs in a high scoring affair 154-129.  As elated as MVF must feel, IP must be dejected as 129 should win you your game 9 out of 10 times.

The final game last week saw Deadliest Catch lose to defending league champion Mission: Repeat 121-80.  The loss was so demoralizing for DC that a team meeting took place on monday that resulted in a name change.  No longer Deadliest Catch, the ownership group decided it should opt a name more resembling the characteristics of the players on their squad, therefore the 2Pac Shakur song was chosen, and in so doing Thug Life was born, a very appropriate name indeed.

On to Week 4:

Thug Life vs. Blood & Thunder

Thug Life donning their brand new uni's for the first time get to take on a Blood & Thunder team that's simply trying to stay afloat and scratch out a few wins until star WR Miles Austin returns in week 6.  This game could go either way and really depends on McCoy versus Foster.  Although I do like both this week I'll have to go with McCoy as he's coming off a couple of great games and this will be Foster's first real test.  Thug 126 Blood 125

Repeal Obama Vs. 6 Wide

The marquis matchup of the week.  How does James Starks fare as the lead back vs. the Broncos this week?  Does CJ make it 4 straight games catching 2 TD's?  Does Vick make it through an entire game?  Does the Loss of Britt too much to bear?  All these questions and more could possibly be answered this week.  Although I think the blowout streak will end at 3 games for RO, I do have to pick them as I think the Britt loss is actually devastating for 6 Wide.  Repeal 133 6 Wide 122

7 QB's Deep vs LeGarettesBlountwrap

The Somebody's gotta win bowl week 2.  Who will get more out of their underperforming team.  Who's opening up the firesale on tuesday?  I really don't like either teams this week, and I'm half tempted to buy into the LGBW curse but Chris Johnson and the team's namesake can't be held down for all that long- I think this could be ugly if all engines are go.  But I guess we'll see.  LGBW 111  7QB's 88

Clean Slate Vs. Iron Pigs

Clean Slate tries to even out their record while Iron Pigs looks to get back on the winning side.  Tough Game, tough matchups for both- I think the Daniel Thomas, yes Daniel Thomas factor is looming but do feel that this game is a strong contender for the weeks closest game to go along with the B&T Vs. TL game.  Iron Pigs 108 Clean Slate 102

F Philly Vs. Cinderella Story

Cinderella's still looking for that slipper and F Philly may be delusion thinking his boy Sanchez will continue to score big each week.  That said, despite how I feel about Sanchez, I do like FP's chances this week.  He'll need both QB's to neutralize what a pissed off Tom Brady does in Oakland but the rest of his roster looks stronger and should prevail. F#%& Philly 123 Cinderella 109

Manning Vs. Food Vs. Mission: Repeat

I'm not buying into the 154 points just yet.  This game is another close contest waiting to happen, but I'll be a believer in MVF if he can take out the defending champ this week.  My Pick, M:R 118  MVF 113

Hope everyone has a good Fantasy this weekend.

Fantasy Football League Week Three Predictions

In picking last weeks games I went 4-2 for the second straight week, meaning I've gone 8-4 for the season thus far.

Last weekends games had some interesting moments to say the least.  We saw some high scores and only one close contest.

WEEK 2 RECAP

Blood & Thunder 127  6Wide 120

This is one of the two games I had predicted incorrectly.  It was an extremely close game between these two perennial powerhouses, literally coming down to the second half of Monday Nights Giants-Rams game.  Despite the final score though, Blood & Thunder has to consider himself fortunate for pulling this one out.  With 34 viable points not-played, rotting away on his bench, and where he made the incorrect call on his last minute addition of the Bills defense that netted him a goose egg.  Additionally his young star receiver Mike Williams was held pointless after a touchdown grab was called back because of a penalty.  Despite all of this, luck seemed to fall his way, as the strangest things compounded for 6 Wides club, a poor game from his elite WR Roddy White being the least odd.  Mike Vick was shredding the falcons before an unfortunate hit saw kennels cheering everywhere, as Vick became concussed.  Then with his last chance for victory, where Mario Manningham needed a very doable 12 points also saw a concussion ending his game and 6 Wides chance for victory.

Cinderella Story 134  LeGarrettesbluntwraps 96.

This is the other game I picked wrong. This game really was never in doubt, despite LGBW's namesake going off against Minnesota.  The season that looked so promising post-draft just keeps getting worse for LGBW, seeing his Elite RB's either become non-factors or, in the case of Jamaal Charles, seeing his season end due to injury.  We've only played 2 games and while anything can happen and LGBW's team still has a slew of potentially elite players, you just get the feeling that this team, is in fact, cursed.

Iron Pigs 111  7 QB's Deep 88

Iron Pigs rebounded from a week one loss and 7 QB's team just hasn't seemed to get out of warm-ups.

Mission Repeat 132  F Philly 117

Mission: Repeat saw some strong performances from his guys in week 2, a much needed victory for the reigning champs.  A loss here could have seriously derailed any chances for repeating.

Deadliest Catch 153  Manning Vs. Food 124

While MVF scored three Td's more than I had foreseen, DC is living up to his adjective, posting the second highest point total this week and showing no signs of letting up.

Repeal Obama 167  Clean Slate 79

The highest point total went to RO, putting up a staggering 167 points, seriously looking like a force to be reckoned with.  Clean Slate seemed to be a 2 trick pony and was never really in this one.

Looking back at a season only two weeks old might be premature, but a few trends are coming into form for a few teams.  Clean Slate and 7QB's deep should be exploring potential trade possibilities sooner than later, and LGBW will probably try to increase some of his players market values before making his move in the trade arena, but it does seem like a trade or two are in his future as well.

Onto Week 3's Predictions:

7 QB's Deep Vs. Clean Slate

The two lowest scoring teams square off in a game that looks about as ugly as a Seattle-KC matchup would look right now.  But hey, someone has to win Right?  Well I guess a tie could take place but the odds of that aren't very likely.  I see this game coming down to the play of each teams QB's.  7QB's Rivers and Flacco seem to be a much better duo, with much better Matchups than CS's Fitzpatrick and Dalton on paper.  However I can see both SD and Baltimore gaining early leads this weekend which could lead to a second half run-fest in each game respectively while it would seem that both of CS's QB's will need to sling the rock around all game long, especially Ryan Fitzpatrick who, for the Bills to have any chance in this game, must try to keep pace with Brady.  Clean Slate 94  7QB's Deep 85

Manning Vs. Food Vs. Iron Pigs

A lot of oinking going on at the sty heading into this weeks game.  Iron Pigs brought their record to even after their win last week and you can feel the confidence they have as you look at the very favorable lineup of individual matchups on Sunday.  MVF should get productive games from Brees, Bradshaw and F-Jax but it doesn't appear to be enough.  Iron Pigs 106  MVF 93

Deadliest Catch Vs. Mission:Repeat

MR wants to string too good looking wins together but DC wants to continue it's brand of beatdown.  For DC you can see the potential in Big Ben, Hasselback, Maclin, McCoy and Holmes.  For MR you salivate thinking about Rodgers, Orton, Rice and Hillis.  I think this game will come down to what happens in the Sunday Night Game between Pittsburgh and Indianapolis.  If it's a tight game I can easily see all three of DC's players having a big game, but if it turns out to be a blow-out like I'm expecting it to be, you have to like MR's chances for back to back wins.  Mission: Repeat 117  Deadliest Catch 110

6Wide Vs. Cinderella Story

Will the Cinderella Story continue?  Will the concussions continue for 6Wide?  Vick looks like he's going to suit up against the Giants, a team that was scorched by Rex Grossman in Week one and then by Sam Bradford in week 2.  This leads me to believe that Vick will negate the destructive matchup Brady has against Buffalo.  Taking both of those players out of the equation I have to like 6Wide's remaining matchups over Cinderella's.  Slipper falls off this week.  6WIDE 121  Cinderella Story 115

Repeal Obama Vs LeGarrettesblountwrap

Who knows what the next misfortune for LGBW will be.  Maybe it's simply having to face a team that can drop 150 with ease.  Blowout style.  Repeal Obama 144  LGBW 99

Blood & Thunder Vs F&*# Philly

On paper this looks like a fairly close matchup.  But what the lineup doesn't show is the backstory between these two clubs.  B & T seems to make the Super Bowl every year, but like clockwork, F Philly seems to beat him every time the two clubs tee it up.  I like many of B & T's matchups this week but I have to like Sanchez, LT, Burress and Gronkowski, as this style of player are the ones that usually play well above their projection lines.  F&*# Philly 137  Blood & Thunder 121

Have a great football weekend.

Fantasy Football League Week Two Predictions

Last week the NFL season began again, and with it, fantasy leagues everywhere got going as well.  Last week I posted my predictions for each matchup.  I'll do the same for Week 2 in a moment, but first a recap of last weeks action.

I wound up going 4-2 in my predictions.  The scores I predicted were, for the most part, not very close.

1.  LegarrettesBlountWrap Vs. Blood & Thunder.

I took LGBW last week, but Blood & Thunder had an unlikely performance from Rex Grossman and nearly all his players hit pay dirt leading to LGBW's demoralizing 148-108 loss.

2.  Deadliest Catch Vs. Iron Pigs

I took Deadliest Catch by a 15 point margin and that's exactly the way things panned out.  105-90.  If it wasn't for a 26 point performance by LeSean McCoy and a 19 point one by Cedric Benson, DC would've fell to the pigs.

3.  6Wide Vs. Mission: Repeat

Mission:Repeat got off to a rocky start, in a season filled with Repeat Championship dreams.  Instead, based on the stunning 26 pt. performance by Kenny Britt and another 17 chipped in by the Philly defense, 6Wide saw to starting a potential Championship hangover for M:R.  I took 6wide by a 3pt margin, the actual score 138-104

4.  Clean Slate Vs. Cinderella Story

I predicted Clean Slate would prevail in a predominantly underwhelming affair.  I was wrong on both accounts.  Cinderella saw a Brady like performance from his NE QB for 34 pts and another 22 from his Baltimore Defense en route to a 133-96 victory.  Clean Slate should come away feeling good about the 21 pts put up by his QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and the 31 put up by WR Wes Welker, laying claim that a pushover team they will not be.

5.  F Phily Vs Manning Vs. Food

I had a pretty good feeling MVF wouldn't be competitive in this one, but they still, with a waiver wire filled roster, put up 114 points, very admirable indeed.  But the power of hate drove F Philly to a league high 152 points based on strong performances by the majority of his roster.

6.  Repeal Obama Vs. 7 QBS Deep

I felt this matchup would be fairly close.  It turns out however that I greatly undersold RO's team where top performances were turned in by the majority of the roster as they put up 141 pts.  On a team that scored a mere 18 points combined out of the QB position.  7 QB's didn't fare nearly as well as injuries mounted and game plans became adjusted due to score, but they should get healthier as the season goes on.  Only 76 points were scored in this weeks most lopsided affair.

Week 2 Predictions

1.  Blood & Thunder Vs. 6 Wide

B&T can't expect to get 15 points from Rex Grossman every week, nor can he expect all his positional players to touch paint either.  This game shouldn't be a blow out, but looking over 6Wide's matchups and roster it doesn't look like B&T will get the prediction nod.  Perhaps they'll prove me wrong yet again.  6Wide 132- Blood & Thunder 118

2.  Repeal Obama Vs. Clean Slate

RO has the luxury of having his 3rd receiver, Robert Meachem, looking to receive additional looks this week as Colston is out for this matchup.  His overall team looks fairly strong, and it appears Henne earned the start over Alex Smith- We'll see how that one works out.  But Clean Slate doesn't look like he'll be in this one for very long.  I like Fitzpatrick against Oakland but Lewis is likely out and rest of matchups don't impress me much.  Repeal Obama 119- Clean Slate 86

3.  7 QB's Deep Vs. Iron Pigs

While neither of these teams seems to have marquis matchups, I do like Iron Pigs kicker this week, however I like the shoot out potential in the SD-NE matchup as the deciding factor here.  While 7QB's deep does have Phil Rivers in this regard, Iron Pigs has OchoCinco and Vincent Jackson.  It doesn't help much that Hakeem Nicks is questionable for monday night.  Iron Pigs 111 7QB's Deep 95

4.  LegarettesBlountWrap Vs. Cinderella Story

Cinderella Story had a Cinderella story take place for them last week.  i know the fantasy experts out there are all in sell-short mode on LGBW's big 3 of Charles, Blount and Johnson but I still like this team, one that put up a combined 16 points with these stud backs last week and still scored 108 points.  I'm going to think this through realistically.  Cinderella Story is on average a 100 point team, LGBW is on average a 120 point team at least, I'll go someplace in the middle.  LGBW 114 Cinderella Story 108

5.  F Philly Vs. Mission Repeat

If it weren't for the injury/matchup concerns I see for F Philly I'd probably take them here, but I like most of M:R's matchups and think they'll be enough to even out both squads records at 1-1.  Mission: Repeat 109  F Philly 101

6.  Deadliest Catch Vs. Manning Vs. Food

Deadliest Catch is a force to be reckoned with this year, one that if things keep rolling the way they did in week one, he won't need a rat deadline day trade to hope to make the playoffs this year.  Manning Vs. Food is behind the 8-ball and will continue to be so, all at the hands of a draft day debacle and the unfortunate loss of stud QB Peyton Manning.  They'll need to overperform each week and get a little lucky in most matchups.  This weeks no different.  DC 132 -MVF  103

I'll have my NFL predictions for Week 2 out shortly.  Enjoy the Fantasy Week 2.

Fantasy Football League Week One Predictions

 Fantasy Football Week 1 Matchups
1.            LeGarrettesBlountWrap Vs. Blood & Thunder
There’s too much power for Blood & Thunder to overcome here.  With Foster looking like he’ll sit B & T will have to rely on his stud receivers, who get negated by LGBW’s QB’s throwing them the ball. Would need perfect storm to pull this one out.  LGBW  122   B & T  89

2.            Deadliest Catch Vs. Iron Pigs
Bad Matchups for the Iron Pigs.  Decent ones for DC.
DC 105  Iron Pigs 90

3.            6 Wide Vs Mission Repeat
Close one but I’m not going to bet against 6 Wide where Vick could put up 30 and his receivers are not getting the love they deserve this week.  6 WIDE 114  Mission: Repeat  111

4.            Clean Slate Vs. Cinderella Story
Tough one to pick, as anything can happen.  You have lots of these players on both teams that can be feast or famine.  I’m going to go out on a hunch, on the basis that I feel Fitzpatrick will light KC up on Sunday and I really like Lloyd Vs. Oakland. Clean Slate 98   Cinderella Story 92

5.            F&^% Philly Vs. Manning Vs. Food
Without a roster filled in I can’t pick MVF here.  But even with considering the players out there still, I can’t come up with a scenario he wins.  FP 93  MVF 74

6.            Repeal Obama Vs. 7 QB’s Deep
This should be a good matchup to keep an eye on.  RO has 5 guys with chances for really nice production.  7 QB’s has 5 as well, but one of those is a kicker so I’m going with RO here, in an ultra-competitive game.  Repeal 98  7QB’s 97
