The Union of Vine to Earth

The earth
met the
leaves,
and arms
were joined
together, where
they hid each
other within the
other

Secrets grew
aligned, inseparable
they became, setting
future's only able
to singularly coincide

Paths begin where
trails end.  Arms extend
when the body needs
a friend.  Warmth of growth
extending past nature's bark,
commingling forever,
for in the other
exists the others life

Etchings of a Frozen Recreation

So generous
offering itself
entirely, to
young and
old alike,
providing
sanctuary
in those sliding
motions-

foot glides on leather
laced tight top the
bridgework bone-

leather connects to
blade-where in
concert, movements
lather in streaks and
glances, etching
frozen layers thin

and in this peaceful
repetition, the mind-
expands-wrapping thought
in topical individualities

yet, when legs tire  or
temperature sinks well
below breathable depths,
the blades are removed
and the voices dim
until
all that remains
are the scars
recreation layers- remixing
the landscape-and
frozen leaves the art

Truck Passing Rocky Highway

Haven't had the opportunity to post anything here for a couple days.  Not sure when i'll get the time to do anything meaningful.  been a bit out of it past couple days.  Hopefully I'll get out to a show or have time to either paint or review a couple albums or books I've been meaning to do.  Anyhow, I just whipped this up.  The thought was that I wanted to do a drawing of a truck kicking up rocks as it passed a freeway.  I wanted to draw it as a child would.  Anyhow, just something to pass the void.  Thanks.

Contrasting Scenes of Waves & Shore

I would like to thank Mister Paint for a few of his sticker sprays I used in part on each of these paintings.

New Painting and Some Poetic Verse

A boy was walking his dog
Along a road made of brick and gold
Only to find a well exposed
To which I thought he should find it's valve
Stop the spill and make it safe
But what happened
He could not know
He turned the lever
and the Oily mess ceased to flow
But when he turned to look at his dog
He realized his pup had turned into a raspberry glow
If he had a mirror there
He would have seen an unfamiliar stare
His flesh and his self
Conformed, transformed
into a bird dark and bright red
In the park
That afternoon
the leash was dropped
but the loyal pup did not go
For soon
Someone would have to verify
All the zaniness that transpired
For mother is very fond
of the cats back home.
