Jungle Clearing Distortion Queue
Visions Lament the haze
Sights shift, merge, fade
then change anew
Blur to blend
Mix to rend
Torn asunder
Grasped
Past
Pixelated recognition
Image plots it's way
Askew to the verifiable
causal pathways
Neurological
imbalanced
when
in
reality
it's but an
empty clearing
with only some old rock wall
and it's dead plant in a broken
vase, dangling thinly
from a hole a fist
once made.

This is SO good!
ReplyDeletewow...very vivid picture your poem paints. Love that last line especially. And although I'm not naturally drawn to abstract art, I do love yours...the pattern of your knife technique and the colors are very nice!
ReplyDeletedude...the dead plant dangling from the hole in the wall put there by a fist is a visceral image....wow...
