Everyday Happiness

At Creative Tuesday this week we've been asked to explore the topic of Everyday happiness.  There were just way too many to do just one, so I threw them all together for some collage fun.  Check out what makes people happy, head on over to Creative Tuesday and see the many ways.

  1. Wow Fred, this is great. I agree there are a lot of things that make up everyday happiness and you have managed to put them all together so well. Fabulous collage! Must have taken ages to do.

    1. Thanks Linda. Yeah, it did take me a while to do, I started on Wednesday and just finished up today. I'm not the greatest with the non-abstract drawing/painting so it probably takes me much longer than most. But it's fun venturing into areas that I find difficult, after all, If I don't, I'll never get better. Love Creative Tuesday, as it really does give us the opportunity to get out of our comfort zone, but also lets you stay in that comfort zone if you need to. Not too happy about the horse, that was the part that really hung me up, it kept coming out like a my pretty pony, or an overgrown anteater, but at least it somewhat resembles a horse now. But thanks again, it's just a sense of pride I get from being able to share my work, especially with everyone at CT, as you guys/gals are all very good. Thanks again.

  3. Wow~ I enlarged it and took a good long look! I love the idea of a collage for this. I wonder if we will see several on Tuesday. I think reading the book by flashlight is my favorite part...well, that and the seagulls...you know me and birds. lol.

  4. Fred, I love what you did, and the texture looks almost like fabric. Many of your everyday happinesses are mine too.

It was such a busy week for me, I had to come up with a single shot...although I love collages.
